I have been working on the Vishnumati for very long , Its almost 4 months already now. Here is the another part of portraits series on the bank of Vishnumati river . I hope you like it !!!

KATHAMANDU KA GALLI

Every morning I pass through this place and every time I see something interesting. And by interesting, I don't mean something big, huge but they are rather small. The small things fascinate me, the way people spend their lives, the houses they built on their sweat and soul, the little things that go unnoticed. Here are some photos of the small things you see everyday and still you haven't. 

"When is DADDY coming home?"

The kid pees a lot.

Make sure the little one doesn't fall.

Its winter and ice cream stalls got rest

She won't be sharing them anytime soon.

Both the woman and the window, old yet beautiful.

Is she lonely or solitary?

Guess they are warm enough.

Camera gives grains when more ISO is used in low light and something new came to my mind . I started clicking grained pictures and certainly the output is here , It seems like a piece of art So, I titled this post as

THE STORY OF LILA

Far far away from town , behind the hills there was a small village. The village was small and it was very wonderful place to live. In this village there lived a family with one son and one daughter ,Lila. Everyone was happy at village . Lila's father wanted her daughter to get married with nice guy in town and have great life .

 One day , a stranger from town came to village . He began to love Lila and he came to house every day .

The stranger  talked  to her  father about the life in town & he convinced her father that he was a good guy . He also told his family that she will get a good job in the town .

 The stranger took  away Lila away from her family to the town.

He took her to the crowded place in the city.

 A smuggler gave the man money and left her there .Lila was shocked that they exchanged her with some amount of money. She was afraid too.

 She was sexually harassed every day and every second .

 Lila cried every day , tried running away & she even tried hanging her self but she was unable. She was hopeless .

 Finally Lila thought that she should ask for help anyone who passes by . She asked help to many but everyone denied to help her . A man who was associated with Maiti Nepal saw Lila asking help then he decided to help her .

 She get rescued at last. Maiti Nepal in non profit organization helping women who are trafficked .
