Yesterday night , some of the Newari people gathered around Basantapur lighting diyos for the world peace. They lighted over a lakh lights in the shape of Lord buddha (god of wisdom and peace) on the big ground of Basantapur for world peace . I was amazed to so many people gathered together to light of the diyos. It was organised by Newar society.
We the photographers of Artudio coincidentally met this huge event and was so much exited to click the whole scenario of Basantapur . there were some foreign people amazed to see those lights and the crowd. I didn't get very much good pictures and here it goes .
